The 1st Annual Unicycle Utah Triathlon was held on May 31st, 2008 and it was a great success. Instead of saying it was a small event, let's just say it was exclusive.

Congratulations to John Erickson for winning the event with a total time of 34:13!

Thanks to all the athletes who participated and special thanks to Randall Autry and Allison Copeland for helping run the event.

In order to try to even out the advantages of a bigger wheel, I added delay times to the participants with wheels larger than 20". The delay times were probably a little excessive. Next year there will be no delays or restrictions on wheel sizes. I will find a course, or make a course, that is more technical so that those with larger wheels do not have much of an advantage.
